Rhys Palmer after playing most of his Junior career at WJFC is cleared to Bullcreek-Leeming in 2004 to play with friends. He plays one season with BLJFC and then plays at East Fremantle before being drafted to the Fremantle Dockers in 2006.  Palmer is awarded the 2006 Rising Star for his performance.

Richard Hadley is playing his first season with the Brisbane Lions and is nominated for the Rising Star award.  This win and the subsequent money to their Junior Club provides some much needed funds to the Club’s accounts.

In 2004 the current Committee restarts the canteen and holds a Quiz Night to fundraise to replace team jumpers that were well overdue for replacement.  The Club commits to holding 1 social function for parents each year to help ensure jumpers and equipment are kept up to date.
