Kane Morphett is recruited by East Fremantle and plays his first game in 1990. He played 44 games over 4 seasons, kicking 8 goals. In 1992 he received 9 Sandover Medal votes and in 1993 he received 4 votes.  Morphett moved to West Pert in 1994 and played 2 seasons amassing 14 games and kicking 2 goals. Morphett was also drafted to the West Coast Eagles as pick number #24 in the 1991 National AFL Draft but did not play an AFL level game and was delisted in 1992.
